About Us
The idea for Cup ADJO was born on March 23, 2020 — the day the world seemed to pause. Offices shut down, coffee shops closed their doors, and for many of us, it marked the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.
Before until then, I grabbed my coffee each morning from the office machine without a second thought. But that day, I realized I had none at home. I decided to walk more than a mile to my local coffee shop, only to find the doors locked. Everywhere was closed. Everything felt uncertain.
Coffee, the simple comfort I leaned on, was suddenly out of reach. Thankfully, my best friend came through and brought me some. And in that moment — holding that warm cup in the middle of chaos — something clicked.
I realized coffee is more than a drink. It’s comfort, connection, and community in a cup. It’s a warm hug when life feels overwhelming. And I wanted to share that feeling with others who love it just as much as I do.
That’s how Cup ADJO came to life: a space to enjoy coffee, connect with others, and be reminded that even in uncertain times, there’s always room for comfort, conversation, connection, and community.
